A 2014 Chevrolet was hit by an early-2000s Pontiac sedan on Kutztown Road at Congo Road last month, Pennsylvania State Police said.

On May 27, at 2:31 p.m, a reported hit-and-run occurred on the 1000 block of Kutztown Road. Police said the driver of the Chevrolet was southbound on Kutztown Road, and the striking vehicle was eastbound on Congo Road.

As the Chevrolet approached the intersection, the Pontiac ran the stop sign, police said. The Chevrolet collided with the driver side rear quarter panel of the Pontiac, causing it to spin, per the affidavit.

The driver of the Pontiac regained control and left the scene, police said.

The Chevrolet sustained minor damage to its front bumper and the driver, a 27-year-old woman from Boyertown, was uninjured, police said.
