Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a harassment incident involving duct tape, restraint, and a friends’ sleepover in Salford Township last month.

Police said a 12-year-old male victim came to the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack barracks on the morning of May 11 to report a harassment and restraint that occurred between several juveniles at a sleepover on the unit block of South Allentown Road in Salford.

The victim told police he was at a sleepover the evening prior, during which several juveniles were playing with duct tape, according to the complaint.

The victim and his friends, police allege, used the tape to tie each other’s limbs together and race to break free first.

The next morning, per the complaint, a friend again tied the victim’s limbs, involuntarily scaring the victim, who was then released by other friends minutes later.

During the incident, the victim suffered redness in the area of the duct tape and did not need medical treatment, police said.
