Schwenksville’s ‘Music in the Meadow’ summer concert series kicks off June 19

Three bands are scheduled to get people moving and grooving at Schwenksville’s free “Music in the Meadow” Summer Concert Series at Meadow Park.

Blonde … James Blonde, Dibbs and the Detonators, and Little Sister will rock on June 19, July 17, and Aug. 21, respectively.

The outdoor event, located behind 300 Main St., Schwenksville, and between the Perkiomen Creek and Perkiomen Trail, is a pet-friendly event. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to the concerts.

Blonde … James Blonde is a six-piece, four-part harmony ensemble based out of Spring City and Blue Bell, according to Schwenksville Borough’s Facebook. They will perform from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Dibbs and the Detonators is a rockabilly band. They will perform in July from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Little Sister is a female-fronted, four-piece high energy rock, pop and dance band. They will hit the stage in August from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At each event, BSA Troop 105 will sell food and drinks.
