Lower Frederick Township Board of Supervisors have welcomed a new member of the force to their town.

Last month, the supervisors swore in new police officer Ashley Narke, according to a Facebook announcement.

Narke, according to the township, has volunteered with the VMSC Emergency Medical Services K9 Search and Rescue. She has also given her time to Wreaths Across America, Honor Flight for Veterans and Beyond Violence Abuse Shelter.

“After a competitive hiring process and her life experiences, it was evident that Officer Narke was the best candidate for the position of police officer,” said the township in a release on Facebook.

Narke is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and the Montgomery County Police Academy.
