A Collegeville native has proven he has the power at the plate, as he was selected for two all-region baseball teams this week, announced Hamilton College.
Jack Eshleman, a junior pitcher at the NCAA Division III college in Clinton, NY, has landed on the 2024 American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Team for the first time, according to the report, and the 2024 D3Baseball.com All-Region Team.
The Devon Preparatory School alum was voted in by members of the association, with a process led by the association’s NCAA Division III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee, per the report.
The Continentals pitcher, per the article, is 22nd in Division III with a 2.05 ERA and has a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 5.75, according to Hamilton College. As pitcher, Eshleman has kept his hits allowed per nine innings at 6.32 and has struck out 69 batters in his career so far.
The college said the 6-foot 2-inch Eshleman finished the season with 57 innings pitched, a 4-1 record and three complete games in eight starts.
