Montgomery County officials and dignitaries will host the 6th annual Pride flag raising ceremony outside on the county courthouse lawn Monday morning.
According to a press release, at 10 a.m., county officials and employees – Commissioners Jamila H. Winder and Neil Makhija and county Clerk of Courts Lori Schreiber – and local dignitaries and invited speakers will reflect Monday morning on the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and measures that have since been enacted in Montgomery County and Pennsylvania to protect and enshrine the rights of the LGBTQ community.

Guest speakers include West Norriton Board of Commissioners President Anne Pavone, NAACP Main Line Branch President Briane Reese-Turner, and Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program Director Chad Frame.
The courthouse is located at 2 E. Airy St., Norristown, at the corner of Swede Street.
