A 24-year-old man from Upper Perkiomen Township was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 73 in Colebrookdale Township, Berks County. 

According to Colebrookdale Township Police, Joseph Turi, of Colonial Drive, East Greenville, was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital after the Friday morning crash.

Turi, police said, was on the motorcycle and collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of South Funk Road and Route 73/West Philadelphia Avenue.

Berks County Coroner reported Turi died from multiple blunt force trauma.

Colebrookdale Township surrounds Boyertown Borough.
