Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Dallas, a 6-month-old beagle, as the featured rescue of the week.
Dallas was rescued from a puppy mill in Lancaster, before finding his way to his current foster home in Blue Bell, through the Home At Last Dog Rescue.
Dallas’ foster parents say that he is a very loving and energetic dog, who loves to be outside, following his nose around the yard. He is very even-tempered, curious, and independent.
He can be a little nervous meeting new people, however will warm up to them with a little patience, said those caring for the pup. Dallas is both house- and crate-trained.
He was recently neutered, and gets along well with other dogs.
A perfect home for Dallas would include one with a fenced-in yard or access to off- leash play. It is important for him to get good, daily exercise. He would do best in a less- developed area away from regular loud sounds or busy roads.
