A Royersford teenager was charged with driving in the wrong lane of traffic after a one-vehicle crash in Schwenksville Borough last month.

Police said Lane Stento, 19, was not injured in the June 26 crash at 11:44 a.m. on Main Street at Game Farm Road.

According to authorities, Stento was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze south on Main Street, approaching Game Farm Road, when the vehicle suddenly lost power.

Stento swerved to the right to get off the roadway, driving onto a sidewalk and striking a traffic signal post, police said. The car continued forward, destroying landscaping along the roadside, police said.

The Chevrolet sustained severe damage in the crash, police said.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
