1 injured, transported in Trappe stabbing incident Tuesday afternoon

A stabbing on Elio Circle near Harvard Drive in the 405 at Main Apartment community in Trappe Borough that sent on person with potentially life-threatening injuries with a stab wound to Paoli Hospital Tuesday afternoon has resulted in a heavy Pennsylvania State Police presence around the West Main Street and East Third Avenue intersection.

At least one patient was transported by Friendship Fire Co. Ambulance, per Montgomery County emergency dispatch reports, arriving at 12:43 p.m.

An active police presence remains at the apartment complex and at the Sunoco on West Main Street. Following transport of the first patient, EMS was then recalled to the Sunoco Collegeville-Trappe station at 306 W. Main St. to assist with a second person possibly involved in the incident, according to emergency radio dispatch.

Skippack EMS Inc also assisted at the scene.
