Two motorists from Collegeville were transported for possible treatment of injuries suffered in a crash at Borough Line Road and West Seventh Avenue last month, Pennsylvania State Police reported Monday.
Police said a 67-year-old man was taken via Trappe Fire Co. Ambulance to Phoenixville Hospital, and a 51-year-old woman was taken by Trappe Fire Co. Ambulance to Pottstown Hospital.
The male driver, police said, was later cited for failure to obey rules of a stop sign or yield sign.
On Nov. 2 at 4:57 p.m., police said the male driver was in a 2018 Ford Escape, south on West Seventh Avenue, and the female driver was behind the wheel of a 2017 Toyota Corolla, west on Borough Line Road.
The woman stopped at the stop sign at the intersection, and proceeded through, but the male driver of the Ford did not stop at the intersection, striking the Toyota, police said. The Toyota came to rest on South Lewis Road, facing south, police said.
