As the holiday season continues, Montgomery County is requesting donations for two additional drives to support local families during the winter months
Montgomery County gratefully announces that the 2024 Thanksgiving Donation Drive provided 232 Thanksgiving meals and $6,305 in gift cards to local families served by the Department of Health and Human Services. This initiative ensured families could enjoy a warm and meaningful holiday meal, reflecting the County's commitment to community care.
As the holiday season continues, Montgomery County is requesting donations for two additional drives to support local families during the winter months:
Coat Drive
Present – January 3, 2025
As the temperature drops, Montgomery County is accepting donations of *new coats only* to ensure children and adults stay warm this winter. The greatest need is for infants and all children’s sizes.
Toy & Gift Card Drive
Present – December 24, 2024
As the holidays approach, the County is collecting toys and gift cards to bring joy to children and families in need. Community members are encouraged to donate new toys or gift cards to help brighten a child's holiday season.
