Perkiomen Township passes $4M balanced budget with no tax increase

On Tuesday, Perkiomen Township Supervisors passed a $4.301 million balanced budget for 2025 with no real estate tax increase.

The largest source of revenue is the township’s Local Tax Enabling Act at $2.95 million. Perkiomen will reap $300,000 in interest earnings and $171,600 in real estate taxes, per the budget.

The largest expense in 2025 will be engineering at $600,000, followed by $550,000 for open space reserves, $511,776 in road maintenance costs, and $302,368 for supervisor expenses.

Building maintenance is budgeted at $184,847, stormwater management expenditures at $121,400, and parks and recreation expenses are set at $260,000.

The township plans to spend $390,410 in capital expenses on equipment upgrades.
