A Ford Fusion collided with a deer on the Northeast Extension last month, leaving the driver uninjured, but cited for being uninsured.

Pennsylvania State Police out of King of Prussia reported Tuesday that a 39-year-old Philadelphia man was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion southbound in the center lane of I-476 South at mile post A25.4 on Nov. 4 at 12:36 a.m., when a deer entered the lane.

The front left part of the Ford hit the deer, and the driver was able to stop the car on the right shoulder, police said.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt, police said.
