Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack are investigating a Trappe Borough gas station for alleged corruption of minors, as a resident accused the business of selling nitrous oxide to his juvenile son.
Police said in a July 22 public release that a parent complained on July 13 at 12:30 p.m. at the station, along with his son, to report alleged criminal activities at Sunoco at 306 W. Main St.
According to a complaint, the father found his son huffing nitrous oxide in his room. Police said the youth told his father he purchased the nitrous oxide at the Sunoco.
Police said the station sells nitrous canisters and THC products from behind the checkout counter and employees do not require showing identification for the purchase of the products.
There was no comment from a manager at the Sunoco.
