The Pennridge High School club provides inclusive opportunities for those with and without disabilities to participate in sports.
(The following is from the Pennridge School District Office of Communications & Community Relations.)
In what has been exclaimed by many as, “one of the best school days of the year,” it’s time, once again, for the Unified Pennridge Club’s “April Showers” event at Pennridge High School, on April 26th, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Unified Pennridge is a club at Pennridge High School that provides inclusive opportunities for those with and without disabilities to participate together in club activities and sports. They hold fun events throughout the school year that help foster connections and build a more inclusive community here at Pennridge. Our Unified Bocce team and Unified Track and Field Team also help give everyone, at Pennridge, the opportunity to be on a team- and now you can too!
For the last four years, the entire Pennridge High School community, the Autistic Support and Life Skills classrooms from all Pennridge School District buildings have been invited to get “showered” and have fun with the help of local Fire Companies and School District staff at this event.
Students who follow the registration process and raise $10 are eligible to participate in the event and celebrate this unique opportunity which includes a festival-like atmosphere, and a concert from Pennridge High School Rock bands, a DJ, and more entertainment.
Unified Pennridge would also like to share this information and encourage the staff & community to consider donating and helping them meet their goal of raising money for Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.

The Unified Pennridge Goal is to raise $10,000.
The Pennridge School District will, once again, be providing dozens of photos and videos this year as part of collaborative coverage between the RNN; Rams News Network, and PHS’ “Pennridge TV” classes- it will be easy to see why this is, “one of the best school days of the year!”
